2001 bike, 2002 motor. 2003 is a GO!
Well, out in PA at Tricked Out Cycles I got my new motor out of this bike.
Well, not new but out of a wrecked 2002 bike. She ran fine on the test start cold and valves seemed fine or at least not ready to explode. Valves on current Gix6's are fragile. Ask me how I know. Beter yet, please ask Suzuki USA. This will be the last Suzuki I think I will own. oh well... I love the bike when it runs great ;-)
So I helped them yank the motor out, tossed in the back of my truck and got it home. Great folks to deal with. Chris and Bob were kind and courteous and just plain no BS and hell, some of the stuff they had there was super sweet. I am not a flashy sportbike rider, but some of it made me drool.
