Mean Machine - Ska Films Pulls Another Winner to The Screen

Mean Machine. A remake of the Burt Reynolds film of the 70's. That was a good film but Guy pulled it out and made one that matters. I just watched it and I love it!

! ! ! G O A L ! ! !

Just as Guy Ritchie delivered upon the US and world shores the likes of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and then astounded the US market with Snatch, his crew in Ska Films and Director Barry Skolnick and a host of the two movies characters show up in Mean Machine.

I got mine from NetFlix and I watched the UK version on the DVD i got. In a bit I may try out the 'domestic' version but knowing what I like and knowing Guy, Barry and their wit, there is humor abound in the dark worlds they bring to light and onto the screen.

As a matter of fact, Quentin Tarantino, consider this a dare to get back into action. 'nuff said.

Oh, and I have not watched Swept Away starring Madonna and also Directed by Guy (they are hitched and parents by the way in real life) and it seems as if I have no need to see this. You all can google and find out why his last movie sucked so bad.

But he did make a film for BMWfilms.com and it had Madonna in it and it is truly HILARIOUS! Nice cars too - the whole film library at BMWfilms is awesome. Be sure to check out Season 1 and two and you might want to view them in order. Very sharp. Really want to make me drive (can't afford) a BMW. Oh well.

So CHEERS to Guy Ritchie for having a great Career thus far and to the next movie yet to be released: Revolver. We can hope he 'swept' his wife away and got back to the humor of the dark side ;)

Wow, Ska is a great film co. I have no idea if they are even still around. I know Guy Ritchie is doing a film called Revolver due out this Fall but other than that, I have absolutely no idea how to get in touch with anybody in movie-land.

Anybody know?

Good Luck on the Film school and the career. From another SKA film fan...
