Belkin Warranty Done Right

I have a Sony Ericsson Phone - a t68i. Never had a phone clip but Irene bought me one and that broke in the first week. In my pocket the phone got bounced around and she found me another. That lasted about a month and broke in a similar fashion - right at the swivel point. Of course I never saved the packing or any of the stuff since I thought it was a consumer item.

Swivel Phone clip being replaced. Belkin - Done Right!

Here is what I sent to Belkin via their 'contact us' sales email link. I did not expect much. Oh well, heartless world.

I have purchased two of your Sony Ericsson T68 Series Swivel Clip Holster in the past few months and the first one snapped at the swivel and the second is giving out in the same way,

I have used many of your USB, Wireless products in my SOHO and with my clients but I fear that quality control is a bit lacking.

Since I hasten to spend another ~$20 at the local electronics store, I am considering just purchasing an OEM holster via the Sony Ericsson website. Is there anything we can do here? I note in the pic:

that it says lifetime warranty but of course I didn't save any of the packing that come with the two I bought.

I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Minutes later I got this from Belkin:

Hello, I am sending out a replacement holster to you at no charge. I have forwarded your comments to our Product Management department. Thank you for your interest in Belkin products.

Regardless, thanks Belkin for making me and my clients think just a little bit better about some companies.

The fact that Belkin will back up my purchase from a retailer via email is a testament to a company that folks like me like to deal with. Anybody have another?
